Aaron Dilloway
Lost Discoveries Radio ascends into the new year riding high in the passenger seat with Aaron Dilloway across America’s highways on a car drive through a cold Midwestern night during last year’s first impeachment proceedings. Buckle up as much laughter ensues during this familiar & frightening 6 hour mega mix (in 3 parts) inspired by the ‘Modern Jester’s casual story telling navigating us through the labyrinths & jokes of being a young punk growing up in Michigan, early music interests & shows, Wolf Eyes, snake charmers in Nepal, chain shots, tape loop techniques, mangled & majestic Lucifer Rising sounds, MK Ultra, ‘medicine stunts’, Hanson Records, and new tracks including a recent collaboration with Lucrecia Dalt, and some chickens pecking metal….

Xhurch
Exploring the power of myth to form an alternative holiday ritual, Xhurch has offered an ambiguous zone that is at once familiar & uncanny, engaging visitors in an exploration of sacrality and ritual within unorthodox, nondenominational and indefinite sacred space. Tonight we celebrate a decade long series of Xhurch performances with it’s creator Matt Henderson whom has curated a mix of music defining the space, gives some background context for the venue’s unique ethos, and guides us through the 10 ’nativity' scenes. Tune into the octagonal tunnels, holographic glyphs, ceremonial vats, alien nativity, virtual reality gravity inversion, a tube full of baby Jesuses, live score motion capture performances, illuminated altars, mystical mirror manger. trans-humanism, immortality, technological singularity, and eschatological end times.

Experimental Santa
Through the shifting planets and solstice glow, Lost Discoveries Radio's Holiday Special is visited by none other than Experimental Santa, the mulled moniker & spiced seasonal spirit of Colby Nathan. For over a decade, Colby has been an active member of the New England music community and beyond, operating under the guise of his small label, Laughable Recordings. He is one half of comatose pop duo, Dimples, frontman for post freak punk band (New England) Patriots, contributing guitarist/singer to the psychedelic country sounds of Clay Camero & the County Line Bandits, and collaborator to many, such as Big Blood, Tom Kovacevic, Ralph White, Video Nasties, and Greg Jamie (of O'Death and Blood Warrior), to name a few. He has toured extensively with his many varied outfits, but also as a one man show, with Tina, the wonder dog, in tow.

Avola
Tonight we welcome ‘West Coast Weirdmaker’ Veronica Avola to the hellacious helm here with DJ Conjunction alongside guiding listeners on a mix into @avola_verns.world Vern has been a long time activist of electronic bump & bliss throughout the last decade touring the U.S. with projects as EMS, Avola and Elrond @elrondislove in addition to DJ’ing on @theneonhospice station, programing scrambled virtual ouijas, DIY solar generator aid @communitypowerpodspdx , and the newly hatched @grilka.press screen printing operation offering a whole slew of electronic pioneers, bizarre animations, and sci-fi homage which sums up tonight’s show freshly oozing out a cryogenic escape pod. Strange sonics , joyful noise & psychedelic stirrings....

Come Holy Spirit
Mount up and join DJ Sky Lift alongside honored guest DJ, and Come Holy Spirit’s fabulous bassist & singer, Gina Favano, a visual artist, hexoligist, musicophile, songwriter, musician, naturalist, and off-grid floating geodesic dome dweller originally from Philadelphia, currently living on the Mississippi River. We receive a fully inspired transmission directly from the dome drifting through lapping waves, water birds and hard hitting songs for hitting hard times. Always a force to reckon with, Come Holy Spirit, has just dropped a powerful new piece of ‘Undiscovered Land’, now erupting through Water Wing Records in which we premiere a new track from along with rough & rowdy mix!

Meercaz
Lost Discoveries hits the streets hard tonight with a fully flexed 2 hours of hallucinogenic punk rock, melted glam, fiendish erotica, thumpin' bumpin' and fuzzed-up freakouts all hosted care of DJ Head-Spike & the one, and only, Muslim Delgado! Originally launching off from Portland, OR hometown, Muzz has been shredding, dropping beats and making noise out of Oakland for over a decade as George Heroine, Sleeper Cult, and Meercaz. We’ll catch some world-wide premieres, freshly released tracks along with a new mix by the Muzz-meister himself! So get freaky, strap up & come get your schwerve on!

Bernard Herman Halloween Special
A Lost Discoveries regional DJ takes an unexpected ride on the Haunted side while prepping for the gig near a frog infested pond. Disappearing under the influence of a Crowley invocation, hypnotized into subconscious underworld tunnels, stumbling into the brain center of a Haunted NYC Rock N' Roll Dungeon, hosted by none other than the infamous Bernard Herman, not to be confused with the dead film music composer Bernard Herrmann. Bernard Herman has written music, made videos, and has given disturbing night time tours through the various parks and green spaces of New York City, testing the mind, body and spirit of their guests and described by the Village Voice as "a psychological minefield that pushes participants’ boundaries beyond any place considered normal."

Annapurna Himal Wagner
Tonight, we get Heavy by paying tribute to Annapurna Himal Wagner with a full scope of her '(anti) musical' workings by way of bass dirges, guitar shrieks and hellish wails. For almost 2 decades Purna drifted through, rode & ripped the often bleak & beautiful byways of America forming bands with Assassins, Mating Dance, Ganja, Vvltvre, and Purism. We've compiled newly mastered versions of past albums, pulled from our archives, sharing a couple premieres and, importantly, been careful to make sure it's fully AP approved by the advice of all close bandmates whom we deeply thank for guidance & contributions. E3, of Purism and FINISHED, has lovingly provided an hour long birthday mix of her favorite songs including Arvo Part, Rudimentary Peni, Big Black, Swans, and Coil to name a few.. so light up a candle, crack a cold one, shake your wallet at the full moon, get your boots on and swirl into the Scoripionic settings....

Carlos Gonzalez
Tonight, we Weird in a nearby crypt for a spider-side chat with Carlos Gonzalez, a deeply inspirational figure in the underground comics and music scenes. He has created a vast body of DIY work including the 500 page sci-fi opus, Slime Freak, along with Gates of Plasma, Test Tube and most recently the augmented reality cyberpunk fantasy series, Everglide which will be presented as some late night radio theater. We also explore some bizarre dialogue excerpts from the many experimental films shot on VHS, and drift through a number of cassettes & LPS recorded with his solo musical project, Russian Tsarlag, starting from the ‘dirty little seed’ growing into unleashed tendrils of tricks & treats by Byron House, Hepatitus Youth, Dynasty, Hexmorb, Cyclops and Cream Candles!

Ju Suk Reet Meate shares 78s / Smegma
Lost Discoveries Radio is joined tonight by Ju Suk Reet Meate, founding Smegma and core LAFMS member since 1973, to share his favorite 100 year old 78 rpm records from the deep vaults for the first hour of our program. Juk Suk & Oblivia (aka Rock & Roll Jackie) make up the The Tenses using concepts developed over 40 years of organized & spontaneous sound making, attempting a new focus on “live performance” in which the room, or space, has a major effect on the unfolding sounds. DJ Spider Smoker guides us through the mad excitement, barbaric pulsations and incomparable rhythms of forty+ years of the Smegma cosmos including obscure, rare & wild tracks by The Tenses, Electric Willie, Lee Rocky, Psychic Sounds Ensemble, Guzo, Ju Suk Reet Meate solo works, Reverend Toad Eater croaking on phone, Pigface tapes, Is-In Unsamble, collaborations with MSHR, Black Leather Jesus, John Wiese and much more!

Nonlocal Society
Join us tonight on Lost Discoveries Radio as we scope deeply into the micro slides & sounds of Nonlocal Society & Research revealed through the lens of Quanta Qualia, an entanglement of Tomàs Dittborn & Siet Raeymaekers. Co-founded with Nicolás Carcavilla, Nonlocal Society, is currently stationed in Chile & Belgium offering performances & investigations of travelogue environmental sounds, telescopic collages, esoteric costumed movements & dance, found trash & drifting organics into intriguing pendants, sculptures & functional apparatus, plant life infused cinematic mazes, morphing modern mythological clay creature formations, and newly unearthed sonic sciences all shared through a audio catalog network & creations collected across Australia to Easter Islands through North, Central & South Americas and currently stretching out in Europe.

White Gourd / Hildegard von Bingen
We celebrate Hildegard’s feast day with Suzanne Stone’s morning mix along with a narration of Von Bingen’s history, music & visionary experiences. In addition we explore Suzanne’s decade long solo world of White Gourd, an investigation into the depths of the tarot as metaphorical exploration in the form of a concert accompanied with a full visual installation, costume, and unique set of sounds the presence of each performance which has a completely different affect of the chosen card. We’ll be getting a read on The Hermit, High Priestess, Devil, Moon, Magician, Death, Empress, Temperance and an excerpt from the latest Sun card to close out the Summer. In addition to being a visual artist, herbalist, master gardener & educator, bee keeper, Stone is well known for her involvement as vocalist & saxophonist in the ensemble Million Brazilians.

Vica Pacheco
Hailing from Oaxaca, Mexico and currently based in Brussels, Vica Pacheco joins Lost Discoveries Radio tonight to celebrate her debut record Symplegmata, on Kraak, which transposes a exploration of unearthed sound narratives of a fully-fleshed mythology to unfurl biological fusions, hermaphrodite sexuality, the amalgamation of distinct beings into fully-realized entities using synthesized field recordings and manipulated vocals. Tonight we feature a fresh mix inspired by underwater beings of her lore and explore a range of music related to Vica’s morphological animations that include Ramzi, Million Brazilians and some new tracks off the Symplegmata album! Wade carefully though the sunken forests, explore parallel civilization from future pasts and synchronize to the emerging patterns of Vocamorphosis!

Phil Cohran
We honor Phil Cohran, an adept of science, astronomy & astrology, historian, sphereologist, teacher, community activist, and afro-futurist jazz pioneer. He was a prominent member of the Sun Ra Arkestra in its Chicago incarnation, and a original co-founder of the Artistic Heritage Ensemble, the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians, Zulu Records imprint, and the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble with his eight sons. Despite these well known connections, he himself long remained somewhat unknown outside of Chicago. He had his own trajectory following a different star….
